OK – that numbing agent that was injected into me is defiantly gone.
I am sore, but not in a whole lot of pain. I get some stabbing pain in my sides toward my back when I try to straighten up while leaning to the side – like getting out of bed or off the couch.
I took off the compression suit and had a shower – that went ok. I was warned that the combination could make me pass out but it was ok.
I can notice a change in my waist – it is definitely smaller, but there is swelling every where else.
The bruises are starting to show up as well. Lower back, flanks, inner thighs.
I took all my pain meds and spent the day trying to lie still on the couch packed in pillows.
I seem to have peeing down ok – the secret is to spread your legs as far apart as possible and straddle the toilet. I also leaned forward as far as I could. But this did hurt the backs of my thighs where they contacted the toilet seat.
