I am getting around really well and starting to feel more normal.
So much so that Hubby and I had a date night! We dropped some pizzas off for the kids and took off to our favorite Italian restaurant. We may not make it there again before we leave for Canada so I was a little disappointed that I was wearing the Iron Maiden. I have noticed that it has helped cut the portions down – I get halfway though a meal and that is all I can eat.
Good news – I was able to share an appetizer with Hubby, had soup instead of salad an finished most of my tettrazini Alfredo.
Bad news – I get more flavorful roasted red pepper soup from the cafeteria at work and the there seems to be a new/different chef. The tettrazini was served on a plate instead of a bowl and wasn’t nearly as rich and creamy as I remember.
It was still nice to get out and we had lots of time before the movie instead of rushing across town like we normally do.
The movie was ok, good thing. About 30 min in my stomach started. The food mush have been rich enough to start a chain reaction in my intestines and the Iron Maiden didn’t’ help.
Off to the public restroom in the theater. Luckily the timing was right and there was no one in the rest room. I choose a stall near the back and proceeded to undress and get the Iron Maiden off.
Sitting in a stall with your boobs hanging out is actually very disturbing so I slipped my sweatshirt back on.
Now – I had some serious business to get to so why on earth does the next person have to come in and take the stall right next to the only occupied stall in the place! I waited here out and she finished up and left. I got back to business only to have another person come and sit right next to me again!
It’s like the place was being monitored and the staff were playing some sort of evil joke.
I finished up and got dressed and made it back to the movie – didn’t miss much. Hubby asked if I was ok and I told him what happened. I guess I exist to amuse other people, he got a good laugh out of my misfortune.
